A Whole Child Approach

The stage of adolescence plays a crucial role in the development of a youth’s mind, body, and character. During this time, young people are learning how to regulate their emotions, problem solve, plan for the future, and explore who they are, all while their bodies are going through many changes.


Our curriculum helps to address the needs of young people by implementing an evidence-based Whole Child framework that incorporates CASEL's Social Emotional Learning  competencies and Caring School Community  program. These pillars help to increase positive academic, school disciplinary, and mental health outcomes.


In addition, our curriculum teaches young people Executive Functioning Life Skills and Financial Literacy that will help prepare them for the future!

 SEL is a evidence based CASEL Framework designed to help  students develop personal goals, self-awareness, empathy, manage emotions, build healthy relationships and a positive self -esteem

 Life Skills  are essential skills needed to succeed in school and in life.  These skills  are comprised of  planning, organization, attention, time management, flexibility, self-control, and perseverance.

 Financial Literacy gives young people the  knowledge and skills needed to make smart and important decisions with money.  Those skills include budgeting, saving, investing, and borrowing money responsibly.
