Brittany Rogers is a Columbus, Ohio native. She is a licensed social worker and received her Bachelors and Masters Degree in Social Work from the University of Cincinnati. Her passion is to help educate and empower young people to dream big, break barriers, and realize their greatness!
She has over 15 years of experience working with youth ranging from a school guidance counselor, behavior health specialist, child and family therapist, youth and family advocate, high school program coordinator, youth leader, social services caseworker, middle school teacher, and facilitator.
As a school guidance counselor, Ms. Rogers partnered with school administration in developing Positive Behavioral Intervention Supports (PBIS). Ms. Rogers has used her experience with PBIS, SEL, Trauma Informed Care, and JEDI (Justice, Equity, Diversity and Inclusion) to create a positive atmosphere for all students.
Ms. Rogers is known for her exceptional facilitation skills, as she has led and developed engaging youth sessions on topics such as financial literacy, mindfulness techniques, test taking skills, career and college readiness, behavior management, coping with grief, and how to manage anxiety and depression. Ms. Rogers also participated in facilitating ROX, a girls empowerment group.
Ms. Rogers solid understanding of students needs and vast experience has been incorporated into the Winton Youth Program!
